Instructions for the Certification Card issued to Students with a Double Major/Minor in the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures
- Many students from other departments who have a Double Major/Minor in the Department will approach the instructors during the add/drop period to add DFLL courses. However, since the instructors might not know each one of the students, they cannot make an immediate decision. In order to simplify the verification process, the DFLL office will issue a Certification Card to verified students. If students would like to consult DFLL instructors about course selection, they can seek the instructors at the beginning of each semester, and show them the Certification Card together with their student IDs for course addition.
- The Certification Card will not be reissued. Please take care not to lose it.
- The purpose of the Certification Card is to verify that the cardholder is a Double Major/Minor student in the department, and to simplify the verification process for both students and instructors. Please use the card with your student ID. Possession of the Certification Card does not guarantee access to a certain course. The instructor still has the authority to decide whether or not that course can accept more students.
