合作單位：外國語文學系與文學院歷史系、哲學系等相關單位合作籌設，由外國語文學系主任兼學程主任，並負責統籌執行本學程之各項事宜。
設立宗旨：
古典學研究自中世紀與文藝復興時期以來為歐洲學院教育的重要基礎，直到二十世紀中葉，古典學仍是學術研究的重要分支。即便古典學研究在今日不若以往蓬勃發展，其依舊對各人文領域的研究有著深厚影響。因此，對絕大多數未來欲從事歐洲人文學科研究的學生而言，扎實的古典學基礎是不可或缺的。
本學程旨在厚植臺灣大學學生之古典學基礎，培養具古希臘文或拉丁文知識、熟悉古典時期歷史和思想的人才，協助學生獲取未來研究興趣領域相關之古典學進階知識。
此外，本學程預計將有來自各科系的學生共同參與，期待能藉由各領域觀點的融合與激盪，讓學生用嶄新、多元的方法學習古典學知識。
課程規劃
一、分為必修課程15學分及選修課程12學分，共27學分。
A.古希臘文學經典方案與B.拉丁文學經典方案擇一必修；選修課程有(a)(b)(c)三群組，應修習至少兩群組以上共12學分。
B. 選擇「古希臘文學經典」方案，修習「拉丁文一、二」可抵三群組任一選修課程3至6學分。選擇「拉丁文學經典方案」，修習「古希臘文一、二」可抵三群組任一選修課程3至6學分。
[Introduction]
Classical studies have been a fundamental foundationpart of European academic education since the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. Until the midmiddle of the -20th century, classical studies remained a key branch of academic research. Although its prominence has somewhat declined in recent times, Nowadays classical studies continue to exert a profound influence on various fields within the humanities. As such, a solid foundation in classical studies is essential for most students aspiring to engage in European humanities research.
This program aims to strengthen the foundation of classical studies among National Taiwan University students, to cultivateinge individuals with knowledge of Ancient Greek or Latin, and to familiarize them with the history and intellectual thought of the classical period. It also seeks to assist students in acquiring advanced knowledge of classical studies relevant to their future research interests.
Additionally, the program welcomes participation from students across different departments, fostering a highly interdisciplinaryn environment where that encourages dialogue between various perspectivesbranches of knowledge from various fields converge and inspire. This will allow students to explore classical studies through innovative and diverse approaches.
[Course Plan]
The program consists of 15 required credits and 12 elective credits, totaling 27 credits.
A. Students must choose one of the two required tracks: Classical Greek Literature Track or Latin Literature Track.
B. For the elective courses, there are three groups: (a), (b), and (c). Students must complete at least 12 credits from at least two of these groups.
C. If students choose the Classical Greek Literature Track, they may take Latin I and II as a substitute for 3 to 6 elective credits in any of the three groups. Conversely, if students choose the Latin Literature Track, they may take Classical Greek I and II to substitute for 3 to 6 elective credits in any of the three groups.
