Malachi Edwin Vethamani is a Malaysian Indian professor (Emeritus Professor by University of Nottingham), teacher trainer, poet, writer, critic and bibliographer, born in Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He was a newspaper columnist for two Malaysian national newspapers, the New Sunday Times and the Sunday Star, and has authored five volumes of poems and two collections of short stories, most recently Have I Got Something To Tell You (2024).
