除大一新生外，學士班二年級以上(含延畢生)同學每學年得自由選擇導師。大一新生之導師統一由系辦安排，基本上由作文一教師擔任，如作文一教師不是專任教師則改分配給「文學作品讀法」、「西洋文學概論」授課教師或其他專任教師。

All undergraduate students can select their advisors at the beginning of each school year except for the freshmen. Freshmen’s advisors will be appointed by the department. (The priority is as follows: 1. Full-time Composition I teachers, 2. Teachers of Approaches to Literature or Introduction to Western Literature, 3. Other full-time teachers.)

每位導師的導生人數上限為30人。

The maximum number of students each advisor can take is 30.

導師生加簽時間將從開學前一週起至開學後二週截止，共計三週時間。
(今年度加簽時間為 9/2(Mon.)-9/20(Fri.)
The “Advisor-advisee add/drop list”” begins one week before the school year starts and lasts for three weeks.

開學前一週，系辦會將導師加簽書(紙本/電子檔)給各位導師，大二以上同學可在加簽期限內以email或直接去課堂上找老師之方式加簽導師。如老師答應加收則請老師讓學生在加簽書上填上姓名學號等資料。
One week before the school year starts, the DFLL office will send all full-time faculty members an “Advisor-advisee add/drop list” both in paper form and in electronic format. During the add/drop period, students (sophomore or above) can ask for the permission of advisors to take them as their advisees in person or via email. If a teacher agrees to be the advisor of a certain student he/she can let the student write down his/her name and student ID number on the said list.

第三週起開始對沒有自行選導師的同學進行分發。未自行加簽導師的同學將由系辦視每位專任教師已加簽導生人數分配導師，並將優先安排尚未加簽導生或加簽導生人數較少的老師擔任導師。

Starting from the third week of classes the department TA will help assign advisors to those students (sophomore and above) who didn’t select one themselves. Those students will first be assigned to teachers who have not yet taken any advisees, or those who have fewer advisees.

下學期導師原則上與上學期相同，沒有特殊狀況不得隨意更換導師。

The advisor-advisee distribution result will remain for the whole academic year, meaning no change of advisor in the second semester without a special reason.

備註：此導師生加簽法僅適用於一般本地外文系學士班同學。國際交換生及訪問生同學依慣例由系主任擔任導師；研究生當年度加簽方式請洽研究所助教李欣平。

Please note that this distribution procedure only applies to DFLL undergraduates who are formally registered in our program. DFLL incoming exchange students and visiting students will be assigned to the department chair who will act as their advisor. For graduate advisee distribution details, please contact TA Megan Lee.

請同學務必在上述期限當中找老師加簽。加選期間如有任何問題，請跟杜云幹事聯繫。

倘若期限過後尚未加簽導師之同學，將全權由系辦分配，屆時為遵守公平原則，且順利導師分配作業之進行，不會接受同學以任何理由提出更換導師，請同學注意。
