Student Eligibility:

Seniors (4th year or above) or postgraduate students of National Taiwan University; MA students are preferred.

Preferably native speakers of German (or with proof of Goethe Zertifikat C1/C2, TELC C1/C2), or previously employed as a German TA with satisfactory performances.

Chinese proficiency (if not native speaker): TOCFL Band B and above (i.e. able to communicate with students in Chinese via e-mail or conversations)

Salary:

TBC (as stipulated by the agreement with the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures)

Duties:

Duties include:

• assisting the instructor with classroom teaching and discussions (Wednesday 1730-1915, 普304; Friday 1320-1510, 普502; TA will need to attend all the class meetings)

• marking assignments and exams

• assisting the instructor with paperwork (organizing and photocopying handouts, notes, assignments, and other course materials/records)

• assisting the instructor with library work (searching for course related material and accessing such material)

• academic assistance to students in office hours (1 hour per week; timetable to be agreed in Week 2)
