依據：本校「學生逕行修讀博士學位辦法」及「國立臺灣大學外國語文學系學生逕行修讀博士學位辦法」
申請資格：本系暨雙主修本系之應屆畢業學士班在學生及修業一學期以上碩士班在學研究生，經本系助理教授以上二人推薦為具有研究潛力，並同時具備下列條件之一者，得申請逕行修讀博士學位。
（一）修業期間學業成績總平均排名在全班人數前25％以內。
（二）因其他特殊情形，經本系評定為成績優異者。
申請手續：申請者可於申請日期內至教務處研教組網頁下載列印申請書，填妥後併同學士班歷年成績表或碩士班修業一學期以上歷年成績表一份、助理教授以上2人推薦書及系所規定應繳交之資料，逕向外文系辦公室提出申請，逾期不予受理。

Students or double-majors from the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures can apply for entry into the direct-entry doctoral degree program.
Current undergraduate students (including double-majors) graduating in the current academic year and master’s students having completed at least one semester of study who demonstrate outstanding research potential may, with the recommendation of two professors (assistant professors or above) from the Department, apply for entry into the Department’s direct-entry Ph.D. program provided that one of the following conditions is met:
- A cumulative GPA in the top 25% of the student’s academic program over the period of studies completed.
- Outstanding academic achievement as recognized by the Department with justifiable cause.
Students interested in applying to DFLL’s direct-entry doctoral program should submit the application form and the required documents as stated in the regulations to the DFLL Office before April 1st, 2025.
